Rare 2027 Subaru WRX GD25 and BRZ ZC15
Subaru revealed two anniversary sports cars at Boxerfest 2026, the Subaru enthusiast festival in York, Pennsylvania. The 2027 WRX GD25 marks 25 years of the WRX in the U.S., and the 2027 BRZ ZC15 marks 15 years of the BRZ.

Each is named for the chassis code, Subaru's internal platform designation, of the first model sold here. Subaru will build 350 of the WRX and 300 of the BRZ, all with a 6-speed manual, and reservations open in 2026.

2027 Subaru WRX GD25
The first U.S. WRX arrived for 2002 on the GD chassis. The GD25 brings back its signature look with World Rally Blue paint, gold 19-inch wheels, and gold Brembo calipers.

Out back sits a dry carbon fiber swan-neck wing from Subaru Tecnica International, the performance division known as STI. It is the same wing used on rally driver Travis Pastrana's WRX ARA25L.

Stiffer springs, revised damping, a flexible strut tower bar, and Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires sharpen the handling. The 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer engine makes 271 horsepower and sends it to all four wheels.

Inside are Recaro sport seats with black Ultrasuede inserts and red stitching, plus an STI shift knob and short shifter. Deliveries start in summer 2027.

2027 Subaru BRZ ZC15
The original BRZ arrived in 2012 on the ZC chassis. The ZC15 wears Ceramic White paint with matte bronze wheels, red Brembo calipers, and bronze decals along the side sills. The scheme is a nod to the 2020 BRZ tS, which wore the same combination.

A black decklid spoiler and a flexible V-bar under the hood round out the hardware. The 2.4-liter boxer engine makes 228 horsepower and drives the rear wheels.

The cabin gets black leather with Bordeaux red inserts, an STI short shifter, and a ZC15 plaque. It arrives in early 2027.
