2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Has Bold Look and Lower Price
The 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is Jeep's full-size flagship SUV, redesigned inside and out with a base price cut of about $20,000, now starting at an estimated $66,790 with destination.

Jeep acknowledged that its luxury pricing strategy for the Wagoneer went too far and hurt trust with consumers and dealers. At the 2025 Detroit Auto Show, Jeep North America head Bob Broderdorf admitted bluntly, "Wagoneer, it's too far." For 2026 the brand cut prices across the lineup, and says it did so without taking any equipment away.

What's New for 2026
For 2026, the Grand Wagoneer gets a refreshed exterior and a rugged Upland package. The standard Hurricane engine steps down from last year's 540 hp to 420 hp, rear-wheel drive returns as standard on the base trim, and four-wheel drive is now a $3,000 option.

2026 Grand Wagoneer Powertrain Options
The 2026 Grand Wagoneer comes standard with a 3.0-liter Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 making 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft. of torque through an eight-speed automatic.

Jeep will offer a range-extended electric powertrain, called REEV, expected in late 2027. Electric motors drive the wheels, and a 3.6-liter V6 works as a generator to recharge the 92-kWh battery, so you never have to plug it in. Jeep estimates 647 horsepower, 620 lb-ft. of torque, and 0-60 mph in five seconds, making it the fastest-accelerating and most powerful Grand Wagoneer ever.

Range and Fuel Economy
The standard Hurricane returns up to 19 mpg combined, strong for a full-size SUV this heavy. The REEV delivers quiet, all-electric driving for daily commutes, then the gas engine takes over for longer drives, giving a total range of over 500 miles.

2026 Grand Wagoneer Towing Capacity
The Grand Wagoneer tows up to 10,000 lbs. when properly equipped, a best-in-class number that tops the Chevy Tahoe, Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Sequoia.

New Exterior Design
The 2026 Grand Wagoneer drops chrome entirely for a cleaner, more modern look. The front is taller and more squared-off, with a wide, slim grille, full-width LED lighting, and an illuminated seven-slot grille.

T-shaped LEDs sit in the lower fascia, full-width taillamps carry the look to the rear, and wheels range from 18 to 22 inches.

2026 Grand Wagoneer Trim Levels
The 2026 Grand Wagoneer comes in three trim levels, Grand Wagoneer, Limited, and Summit, with appearance and equipment packages layered on. All prices below are MSRP before the $2,595 destination charge.

Grand Wagoneer ($63,995)
The base Grand Wagoneer trim, with the Hurricane engine, Capri leather, Uconnect 5 on a 12-inch screen, and full LED lighting. It's the only trim offered in rear-wheel drive, with 4x4 a $3,000 option.

The Upland package ($73,060) builds off the base trim for a rugged look, adding all-terrain tires, skid plates, tow hooks, and 20-inch wheels. A limited 85th Anniversary Edition ($75,990) is also offered.

Limited ($72,060)
The Limited steps up with Nappa leather, larger screens, and more driver-assist tech, and comes 4x4 only. It also gains a 360-degree surround-view camera that stitches the exterior cameras into a single overhead view for tight parking and trailer hookups. The Altitude package matches it at $72,060 with blacked-out styling, and Limited Reserve ($79,960) adds the fuller comfort and tech suite.

Summit ($94,310)
The Summit is the top trim and is 4x4 only. The Obsidian package matches it at $94,310 with a dark monochromatic look, and Summit Reserve ($100,310) tops the range with the fullest equipment and appointments.

2026 Grand Wagoneer Interior
The 2026 Grand Wagoneer runs Uconnect 5 on a 12-inch central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, part of up to 75 inches of total screen space across the cabin.

A 10.25-inch front passenger display, dual 10.1-inch rear entertainment screens with Amazon Fire TV, and lower comfort displays for climate and seat controls complete the setup. An available head-up display projects speed and key info onto the windshield, and appears to sit further out over the road than before for easier reading at a glance.

Comfort scales up through the trim range. Front seats offer up to 24-way power adjustment with massage, and heating and ventilation extend to the rear. An available tri-pane panoramic sunroof, the only one in the class, opens the cabin to all three rows.

The power-folding third row and split-folding second row drop flat at the touch of a button, opening up to 116.7 cubic feet of cargo behind the front seats.

Materials climb with the trim. Summit brings open-pore Dark Waxed Walnut and Nappa leather, while Summit Reserve adds quilted Palermo leather, a front console cooler, and a 23-speaker McIntosh audio system.

2026 Grand Wagoneer Seating
The Grand Wagoneer seats seven across three rows, with an available second-row bench that raises capacity to eight. The third row fits adults, not just kids. The long-wheelbase L adds cargo space behind the third row rather than legroom.

How Safe Is the 2026 Grand Wagoneer
The 2026 Grand Wagoneer received good safety ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), an independent crash-testing group.

The 2026 Grand Wagoneer comes standard with Active Driving Assist, a hands-on lane-centering system that manages speed and braking. Forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist are also standard.

Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors round out the standard safety kit. A 360-degree camera, automated park assist, and Intersection Collision Assist are available.

What's Planned for 2027
The 2027 Grand Wagoneer is a refinement year, with the engine, transmission, and everything mechanical carrying over. The main changes are a few new paint colors, the retirement of the 85th Anniversary Edition, and a small price bump of about $800 across the lineup.
The 2027 Grand Wagoneer continues to ride on Stellantis's STLA Frame, the body-on-frame platform built for full-size trucks and SUVs under the automaker's FaSTLAne 2030 plan.
