Mark Trostle set his own path after winning an automotive design contest in high school, and more than three decades later he has helped shape the SRT legacy. Ren Stone, Manager of Advanced Design, has 15 years in the industry and worked on the Dodge Charger Hellcat and the fifth-generation Viper. Both now sit in his personal garage.

Jeff Gale, Chief Designer of Advanced Interior Design, brings 30 years across the Charger, Challenger and several SRT8 concepts. Tome Jovanoski, Chief Designer of Dodge Exterior, has shaped the Viper, Charger, Challenger and Durango over two decades and still works in the Dodge studio. Deyan Ninov, Design Manager of SRT Design, joined in 2011 and worked on the original Ram TRX.

A New Era of SRT Designers

The video ties into Stellantis' annual Drive for Design contest, which invites U.S. students to sketch their vision of a future SRT vehicle. The program launched in 2013 to steer young artists toward careers in automotive design.

This Year's Winning Sketch

Felix Bucaro, a 12th grader from Wisconsin, took the grand prize in the 2026 contest. Working under the "Design the Future of Fast" theme, he sketched his own vision of a next-generation SRT vehicle built on a Stellantis brand. It was a step up from the year before, when he placed second as an 11th grader.
