The 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser starts at $57,880 and comes in two grades: Land Cruiser 1958 and Land Cruiser.
Both run Toyota's turbocharged i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain exclusively, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder producing 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque through an 8-speed automatic.
EPA fuel economy is 22 city, 25 highway, 23 combined, which is genuinely impressive for a body-on-frame SUV pushing five thousand pounds.
Capability
The Land Cruiser rides on Toyota's TNGA-F body-on-frame platform, shared with the Tundra, Sequoia, Tacoma, and 4Runner. Ground clearance is 8.7 inches with a 32-degree approach angle and a 23-degree breakover.
Standard across both grades: center and rear locking differentials, CRAWL Control, Downhill Assist Control, Multi-Terrain Select, and a 2.57:1 low-range transfer case.
Towing capacity tops out at 6,000 pounds, enough to haul a mid-size travel trailer or a pair of PWCs without breaking a sweat.
Grades
Land Cruiser 1958 ($57,880)
The entry grade leads with retro-inspired circular LED headlights and the black "TOYOTA" heritage grille. Seats are fabric-trimmed with heated fronts.
Infotainment is an 8-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen with a 6-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a SiriusXM 3-month trial.
Standard equipment also includes a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, three-zone automatic climate control, six USB ports, a 2400W AC inverter, and a front skid plate. Wheels are 18-inch dark gray metallic alloys on 245/70R18 tires.
Land Cruiser ($62,725)
The upper grade adds rectangular LED headlights and Rigid Industries color-selectable LED fog lights. Inside, SofTex-trimmed heated and ventilated power front seats with driver memory are paired with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and matching gauge cluster.
A power liftgate, Enhanced Multi-Terrain Monitor, roof rails, and all-weather floor liners round out the package. Standard rubber is 265/70R18 on 18-inch matte gray alloys. 20-inch gray alloys are also available.
The Premium Package layers on 14-speaker JBL audio, a power moonroof, Head-Up Display, Qi wireless charging, a console cool box, leather seating, heated and ventilated second-row outboard seats, and Lane Keep Assist.
At that point, you're in legitimate luxury SUV territory for a price that would make German brands uncomfortable.
What's New for the 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser
Toyota added available High Mounted Air Intake and Heated and Ventilated Second-Row Outboard Seats. A new exterior color called Inked joins the palette alongside Ice Cap, Meteor Shower, Underground, Wind Chill Pearl, Trail Dust/Grayscape, and Heritage Blue/Grayscape. The two-tone options carry a $350 upcharge.
