Venom F5-M is the World's Most Powerful Manual Car

The Hennessey Venom F5-M is the most powerful manual road car ever built, delivering 2,031 horsepower through a six-speed gated manual transmission.

Hennessey will build only 12 F5-M Roadsters worldwide, priced from $2.65 million before taxes. All 12 are already allocated to clients around the world.

Performance

The F5-M features a new carbon fiber chassis and is powered by Hennessey’s 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged Fury V8. Equipped with the Venom F5 Evolution package, it produces 2,031 bhp.

The six-speed gated manual uses a billet aluminum shifter set in a precision-milled gate, with power going to the rear wheels only. Hennessey says the short-throw lever is weighted to reward every shift, and the center console was redesigned around it.

Design

The most visible feature is a 55-inch dorsal fin that runs from the roof-mounted air intake to the trailing edge of the rear deck, enhancing high-speed aerodynamics beyond 200 mph. An integrated roof scoop feeds cool air to the engine bay. No two F5-Ms will look the same, as each of the 12 cars is uniquely specified by its owner.

The Goodwood Debut Car

The F5-M made its global debut at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Racing driver Alex Brundle ran it up the Goodwood hill twice daily throughout the four-day event.

The first production car belongs to a UK customer and wore its final spec at Goodwood: exposed purple carbon fiber with anodized gold accents. The owner worked with Hennessey's Maverick personalization division to add a 24-karat gold nose badge, hand-painted American and British flags in gold on the dorsal fin, and the family name stitched into the interior knee pads.

The Manual Is Coming to Other F5 Models

Hennessey confirmed that both the six-speed manual and the updated chassis architecture will roll out across the rest of the F5 range. Customers will be able to spec the Coupe, Roadster, and track-focused Revolution models with the gated manual.

How is the Hennessey Venom F5-M Different From the Standard F5

The F5-M is the first Venom F5 offered with a manual transmission. It rides on a new carbon-fiber chassis and is offered only as an open-top roadster. It also makes more power. The standard F5 produces 1,817 bhp, while the F5-M produces 2,031 bhp.

Performance Legacy

Manual transmissions have all but disappeared at the top of the performance market. Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren abandoned them years ago in favor of faster dual-clutch gearboxes. Hennessey is going the other direction. In 2014, the Hennessey Venom GT set a new record speed of 270.49 mph and remains the fastest manual transmission car in the world. The F5-M now gives Hennessey the title of the most powerful manual car.

Hennessey has delivered more than 40 Venom F5 hypercars to date. No more than 99 will be built across all variants.
