Cadillac unveiled the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series during the 2026 Miami Grand Prix, celebrating the Cadillac F1 Team’s first-ever race on American soil. The special edition sedan also makes history as the first production vehicle from an American automaker to wear official Formula 1 branding, signaling Cadillac’s growing presence both on the grid and in high-performance road cars.

Limited Production

Cadillac will build just 26 examples, one for each year the team has been on the F1 grid. The number is deliberate: 2026 marks the first season of competition for the Cadillac F1 Team, with Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas driving the MAC-26 chassis.

Performance

Starting with the CT5-V Blackwing as a base, Cadillac and GM Motorsports upgraded the supercharger on the 6.2L V8 to 685 horsepower. The car ships with a six-speed manual transmission and the Precision Package as standard, which includes carbon-ceramic brakes and chassis upgrades.

Design

The livery mirrors the MAC-26 race car with a Midnight Stone Frost finish and silver, gray, and black accents. Formula 1 and FIA logos appear throughout the exterior.

Cadillac Takes Over Miami for Race Weekend

Beyond the car itself, Cadillac set up a Formula 1 Team Miami Headquarters at Jungle Plaza in the Miami Design District on May 2 and 3. Fans could view V-Series vehicles, purchase team merchandise, and watch the Sprint Race, Qualifying, and Grand Prix. Perez made a personal appearance on Saturday.

With Miami marking just the fourth race weekend for the Cadillac F1 Team, the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series is the brand's way of making sure its debut season is remembered off the track as well as on it.
