It wraps the current Wrangler in a military-inspired look based on the 1941 Willys MB, with heritage details covering the paint, wheels, and cabin. Before it, Willys built two prototypes, the Quad and the MA. The company won the Army's standardization contract in July 1941, and production started that November and ran through 1945\. Both come in two-door and four-door body styles. The engines, off-road hardware, and dimensions carry straight over from those trims. Jeep first introduced its '41 Green olive-drab color in 2020, and it anchors the entire design. The seven-slot grille gets a surround in '41 Green or white. A vintage 1941 center hood decal pairs with military-style door star graphics, offered in '41 Green or Bright White. Jeep pairs contrasting Cattle Tan and Drab Green surfaces throughout, and finishes it with a unique shifter medallion. The Sarge wears a rear swing gate plaque styled like a military dossier, complete with a WWII tank graphic, a world map, a star, and a Toledo, Ohio build callout that nods to where the original Willys was made. The base engine is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft is also available. It brings the military look to the only open-air pickup in its class. The Wrangler Sarge four-door starts about $100 over a comparably equipped Willys or Rubicon, which puts it around $51,000 to $56,000\.
